Market Size of International Visitors to Japan Amounts to Some 231.1 Billion Yen – Leisure and Business Travel Account for 43.7% and 40.5% Respectively

The Japan Tourism Agency recently unveiled the results of the survey conducted on the consumer trend of the international visitors to Japan during the period of October to December, 2010. The size of the market, calculated by multiplying the total spending per visitor by the number of international travelers, is estimated to amount to approximately 231.1 billion yen.
